Trump says he doesn't understand the red card and needs to be banned

On July 7, U.S. President Trump confirmed to the media at the White House on the 6th that he did have a phone call with FIFA President Infantino about the red card of U.S. team player Barogone, but "did not command Infantino what to do." Trump said he "could not command FIFA" and Infantino could not make the decision personally. He believed that FIFA's Disciplinary Committee "made the right decision." Trump said he "knows sports very well" and believed that Barogon's red card was "not a foul" and "not even a violation." Moreover, he didn't know why he was suspended after receiving a red card. He felt that being sent off on the spot was already a punishment."How can I punish the game that hadn't yet been played? This is so unfair." Trump said that in the next game between the US team and Belgium, both sides will use their main forces and it will be exciting. He said that the Belgian team would be very proud if they could defeat the US team, but he himself would say that this game was "shady", just like the 2020 US presidential election...(CCTV International News)
