US media: US Republican "big money lord" Ken Griffin supports Rubio in the presidential election

On July 9, Axios reported that Ken Griffin, a super political donor to the Republican Party and CEO of Castle Securities, said at a private meeting on Wednesday local time that if the 2028 Republican presidential primary election is between Secretary of State Rubio and Vice President Vance, he will support Rubio. Griffin is one of the Republican Party's most active political donors, donating more than $100 million in 2024. Griffin's remarks reflect the emerging divisions within the Republican Party: on one hand, pro-establishment people like Griffin, who want Rubio to run, and on the other, a more anti-establishment camp, who tends to support Vance, in part because of Vance's reluctance to involve the United States in overseas conflicts. Griffin said he has supported Rubio in the past and therefore tends to support him again. Griffin did not specify how he would help Rubio if he ran. However, Rubio has said that if Vance runs, he will give way to Vance.
