SK Hynix ADR opened more than 15% higher on its first day of listing in the U.S. stock market, with a total market value of US$1.25 trillion
On July 10, SK Hynix, the world's HBM storage leader, opened more than 15% higher at US$171.5 on the first day of listing in the U.S. stock market. The latest total market value reached US$1.25 trillion and the issue price was US$149. SK Hynix raised US$26.5 billion this time, surpassing Alibaba's US$21.8 billion issuance in 2014, only lagging behind SpaceX's US$75 billion raised last month, ranking the second largest stock issuance in U.S. history. However, this offering of shares only accounts for less than 3% of SK Hynix's total market value, and the circulation is relatively limited. It is worth mentioning that the only pure storage target in the U.S. stock market was Micron Technology. As the core target that holds a global HBM market share of 56.4% and is deeply bound to Nvidia's supply chain, SK Hynix's listing in the United States has filled the gap in the leading AI storage of U.S. stocks.
