Iran, Oman negotiate plan to open the "Middle Channel" in the Strait of Hormuz

On July 11, sources said that Iran and Oman were negotiating a statement planning to fully open the "Central Channel" of the Strait of Hormuz to ensure the integrity and free passage of ships. Diplomats familiar with the matter added that Qatar officials are participating in the strait-related talks between Iran and Afghanistan in Muscat.
