Revolut receives approval in principle for Dubai's crypto business

On July 15, financial technology company Revolut received "approval in principle" from the Dubai Virtual Assets Authority (VARA) to carry out cryptocurrency brokerage, investment and exchange services in United Arab Emirates. Revolut plans to provide encryption services to local users in retail applications and independent trading platform RevolutX. Currently, the above businesses still need final regulatory approval before they can be officially launched.
