Iran's Revolutionary Guard: Two oil tankers explode and burst into flames in the Strait of Hormuz
On July 18, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps issued a statement on the 18th saying that two oil tankers exploded and caused a fire while passing through a minefield in the southern Strait of Hormuz. The statement emphasized that due to the recent U.S. military operations, the Strait of Hormuz has been "completely closed". Before the United States stops its military operations against Iraq, the Strait cannot carry out oil and natural gas transportation, and ships should avoid entering minefields. The statement did not specify the nationalities, casualties and losses of the two tankers. (Xinhua Agency)
