Strategy founder Michael Saylor writes against BIP110
On July 19, Strategy founder Michael Saylor released a long article "110 ReasonsBIP110 IsaBadIdea", publicly opposing the BIP110 proposal to restrict the use of data storage such as inscriptions. Saylor said that while some inscriptions, tokens or documents may be worthless or even fraudulent, whether their existence should be limited by changing consensus rules is another matter. Saylor believes that Bitcoin cannot determine the purpose of data, protocols should remain neutral, and controversial transactions should be determined by fee markets, nodes and miners 'strategies, rather than being prohibited through consensus layers. He said: Bitcoin does not need guardians of purity, but guardians of neutrality.
