CLARITYAct's latest Senate draft would authorize white-hat hackers to report vulnerabilities
According to BitcoinNews, the latest Senate draft of the CLARITYAct includes a clause that encourages ethical hackers, or "white hat" hackers, to responsibly disclose cybersecurity vulnerabilities. The proposal would authorize rewards to individuals who identify and report security flaws, aiming to strengthen digital asset infrastructure protection before malicious actors exploit the vulnerability. The clause draws on the advice of former CFTC Chairman J. Christopher Giancarlo, who has long supported digital asset innovation and market resilience.
