Source: Iran can cease fire on an equal footing but remain skeptical of the United States

On July 26, an Iranian source said that as long as the United States stops military strikes, Iran will also stop military operations, but Iran still has "doubts" about the United States 'intentions. The source said that Iran's position is still "responding to attacks with counterattack." If the attack stops, Iran will also stop its actions. This position has been conveyed to the United States. However, Iran is "more skeptical than optimistic" about the sincerity of the U.S. ceasefire and believes that this decision is more based on tactical considerations. (Cailian)
