Lido completes stETHRebase correction: yesterday's earnings calculation deviation has been restored and has not affected user funds. The root cause is under investigation
On July 26, Ethereum Pledge Agreement Lido stated that today's stETHRebase correction has been completed as expected, making up for the missed ETH revenue yesterday due to insufficient calculations. The protocol oracle has been updated and passed the audit. The new version will improve report processing speed and help identify the cause faster when similar problems occur in the future. In response to yesterday's abnormal revenue calculation, Lido said that the root cause is still being analyzed, and more investigation details will be announced in the future. User funds have never been at risk during the entire incident. A complete incident review report will be released in the next few days to further explain the cause of the problem, repair measures and subsequent improvement plans. The current preliminary judgment problem may stem from a special marginal situation: the omission of a verifier who is in a waiting status, resulting in part of the pledge income not being included in the calculation.
