Uniswap launches Earn revenue function to support USDC, USDT and ETH self-custody lending interest
On July 31, Uniswap announced that revenue product Earn has launched the Uniswap web application and wallet. Users can deposit USDC, USDT and ETH to earn revenue without leaving Uniswap. The product launch supports the Ethereum main network, and relevant funds will be allocated to the on-chain lending market, and the interest paid by the borrower will continue to be converted into user income. Earn adopts a self-custody model. Users only need to sign once to complete the deposit. Funds are controlled by the user from deposit to withdrawal. There is no lock-up period or cooling-off period, and you can withdraw at any time. Its underlying treasury infrastructure is provided by Morpho and Gauntlet is responsible for managing it. Users can go to the supported assets page in the Uniswap web app or wallet, or find Earn through the Explore page, select the deposit amount and confirm it. If you do not hold assets backed by the treasury, you can first exchange them or purchase them in fiat currencies. Uniswap does not charge Earn royalties, but users still have to pay standard network fees.
