Trump: I have agreed to cancel the attack on Iran if an agreement is reached

On August 2, U.S. President Trump posted on social platforms that the United States is ready to confront Iran, with a level of military deterrence, force and strength unseen since World War II. Still, we have just received requests from Iran and other Middle Eastern countries that we defer any attacks because the framework for an agreement has been reached. This would include the immediate, full and complete opening of the Strait of Hormuz and an end to Iran's nuclear threat. Based on this request, I agreed to cancel the attack for the future good of the world and the survival of a successful and prosperous Iran, provided that an agreement could be reached quickly. The State of Israel shares my commitment to this. Let's get started and finish the job.
