Bitcoin mining difficulty reduced by 7.76%: miners turn to AI computing power and network computing power continues to fall

The current computing power of the entire network has dropped back to approximately 903 - 948EH/s, a significant drop from the peak in 2025. The analysis pointed out that with the currency price lower than production costs and mining revenue under pressure, a large number of miners are turning their infrastructure to AI and high-performance computing businesses, promoting structural changes in the industry. Mining companies including CoreScientific and Bitdeer have accelerated their transformation, which may have an impact on the long-term security and computing power of the Bitcoin network.
