Federal Reserve Barkin: Employment data is not satisfactory but it is the case
On August 7, Federal Reserve Barkin said that the employment data is very consistent with a job market that is in weak balance. The current job market is more reflected in the state of "low recruitment and low layoffs". The (latest) employment data is not performing satisfactorily, but that's what's happening right now. It can be said that the current job market is in an environment of "zero growth to moderate growth". Balkin also said that corporate earnings performed quite strongly and maintained good growth, and he is focusing on the connection between corporate earnings and the job market.
