GalaxyResearch: Ethereum and SOL may need to revisit their inflation plans due to oversupply

On August 8, Lucas Tcheyan, vice president of GalaxyResearch, pointed out that Ethereum and Solana are asking their stakeholders the same core question: how much token security budget is needed to ensure chain security, and whether it is worthwhile to adjust the inflationary issuance schedule. The discussion has not yet resulted in a clear decision and is only in the re-evaluation stage. Inflation issuance rate is a key parameter determining the future supply of tokens. If it is lowered, it may improve the supply and demand structure. If it is maintained or increased, supply pressure will continue. Lucas also said network stakeholders are tying security costs to token value, which could trigger a re-pricing of market expectations for ETH and SOL supply.
