Israeli army attacks southern Lebanon again
On August 21, the Israel Defense Forces issued a statement on the afternoon of the 21st, saying that the Israeli army had struck a building in the so-called "security buffer zone" in southern Lebanon that day. The Israeli army said that several "suspects" were found entering a building in the Barhit area of southern Lebanon's "security buffer zone" earlier in the day,"posing a threat" to Israeli soldiers. The Israeli army then launched a strike on the building. The Israeli army also said it would continue to carry out operations to eliminate "imminent threats," but at the same time "remains committed to abiding by the agreement reached between Israel and Lebanon."
