NearIntentions says it has identified the hacker and issued a 48-hour ultimatum to return the funds
On October 2, NEARIntentions said it had identified the identities of individuals behind the security breach that resulted in the loss of approximately $3.8 million in user funds on Thursday and gave the other party a 48-hour deadline to return the funds under the framework of "responsible disclosure". "We have confirmed your identity," said Alex Shevchenko, general manager of NEAR Intention. Three different wallet addresses were also announced for receiving Bitcoin, BNB and Solana. "You know better than most how responsible disclosure works-this is the last opportunity to use this mechanism. In 48 hours, this window will close." On Thursday, NARIntentions suspended services after discovering "vulnerabilities in Omni's deposit and withdrawal infrastructure interacting with NARIntentions smart contracts."
