Coinbase will restart Coinbase Pro at the end of the year and complete Deribit integration
The Block reported that on October 7, Coinbase revealed at the Token2049 conference in Singapore that it plans to restart the Coinbase Pro platform by the end of this year. The platform will support spot, futures, perpetual contracts, options and stock trading, and has been integrated with Deribit to form Coinbase Global Exchange. Coinbase said: "This integration integrates the U.S. and international derivatives markets into a unified liquidity pool for the first time. As the system is fully connected, we will launch Derivbit-supported options, spot margin trading and unified portfolio functions in the next few weeks." It is reported that qualified foreign traders will obtain option trading rights in the near future, while U.S. retail traders are expected to gradually obtain corresponding qualifications before the end of the year. Institutional customers can participate in Derivbit options and perpetual futures trading through the Coinbase Prime platform. They can also use the platform to conduct comprehensive trading of spot, futures, perpetual contracts and options, and access derivative services such as custody, financing and pledge. Currently, the platform is open for registration, and the options trading function is expected to be officially launched within a few weeks.()
