Solana Ecology Orca and Loopscale merge, new entity Formation

Lending platform Loopscale and Solana-based decentralized exchange Orca officially announced the merger, and the newly established entity will be named Formation. Formation's CEO is Luke Truitt, co-founder of Loopscale. Its strategic plan aims to integrate Orca's trading infrastructure with Loopscale's lending and investment vault to build a full-process service system covering asset issuance, financing and trading. The company plans to expand into capital-intensive areas such as AI, energy, robotics and defense. Truitt points out that the pace of evolution of traditional market infrastructure cannot keep up with the growth rate of cutting-edge economies creating new business models and financing needs. Formation emphasized that traditional financing models have significant cost disadvantages for small and medium-sized transactions.
