STRK's 24-hour gain expanded to 55%, once exceeding US$0.12
On October 11, HTX market data showed that STRK (Starknet)'s 24-hour increase expanded to 55%. The price once exceeded US$0.12 and fell back to the current US$0.11, becoming the leading gainer in the altcoin market. This market volatility is closely related to market expectations for Starknet's technical route. According to public information, StarkWare CEO Eli Ben-Sasson emphasized in the Token2049 conference and subsequent interviews that with the rapid development of quantum computing and artificial intelligence technology, the blockchain industry needs to prioritize building a post-quantum ready system and improving cryptographic agility. It pointed out that Starknet is evaluating multiple technical options, including an independent migration path from the Ethereum ecosystem to the autonomous L1 chain, aiming to grasp the pace of security upgrades and plans to complete a comprehensive quantum resistance upgrade in 2027 (earlier than the official Ethereum plan). This strategic direction of "turning L1+ anti-quantum" quickly attracted market attention and pushed STRK to continue to rise. In terms of technological progress, version v0.14.4 was launched on the main network on October 5, increasing the single certificate capacity of the SNIP-36 protocol to approximately 1.1 billion L2 gas, significantly enhancing off-chain computing verification capabilities; the strkBTC incentive plan launched on October 2 (the first 100 cross-chain BTC participants can bear the bridging fee and receive weekly faucet rewards) further strengthens its connection with the Bitcoin ecosystem.
