Goldman Sachs 'report released on October 12 pointed out that it maintains its basic expected judgment: the continued adjustment of supply in the Middle East will eventually lead to a fall in crude oil prices, but geopolitical conflicts may escalate again and still pose an upside risk. The report also raised its December Brent crude oil price forecast to US$90 per barrel, and the average price in 2027 will remain at US$80 per barrel. For WTI crude oil, the average price is expected to be US$81 in December and will drop to US$73 in 2027. If the average daily production in the Gulf region in 2027 is 5 million barrels lower than the February 2026 level (rather than 300,000 barrels lower under the basic scenario), the average price of Brent crude oil may reach about US$125; if the production is higher than 2026 The monthly level increases by 1 million barrels, the price of Brent crude oil may fall to more than US$60 in 2027.
