Bitcoin treasury company The Smarter Web Company raises £ 10 million and buys £ 4 million in Bitcoin

The Smarter Web Company, a British Bitcoin treasury company, is raising conditional funding in the form of preferred stock totaling £ 10 million (approximately US$13.2 million). In the financing plan, net proceeds of 4 million pounds (approximately US$5.3 million) will be targeted to expand Bitcoin positions. According to The Block, trading in this batch of preferred shares will start on the London Stock Exchange on October 14, with an initial annual dividend yield of 12% and a weekly payment model.
