Tokenized fund liquidity platform Fission announced that it has completed a $10 million Series A financing, led by Pantera Capital
According to a report by Fortune, Fission, a company specializing in providing liquidity platforms for tokenized funds, has completed a $10 million Series A financing round. This round of investment was led by Pantera Capital, with participation from Circle Ventures, Borderless Capital, and Ari Rubenstein. The financing was completed in September, but the company has not disclosed its valuation. Fission’s goal is to address the issue of slow liquidation of tokenized fund shares. By acting as a buyer intermediary on their platform, investors can sell their shares without waiting through the traditional redemption process. Users simply connect their digital wallets and submit requests to sell their shares, with all subsequent legal and transaction procedures handled by Fission backend. CEO Jonathan Shaffer noted that for products that typically take about 200 days to sell, this approach can significantly streamline the process.
