Analyst: Weekly distribution by Bitcoin long-term holders drops 22%, easing selling pressure but narrowing profit margins

Axel Adler Jr., an analyst at CryptoQuant, noted in his latest report released on October 29 that the 30-day rolling distribution volume by Bitcoin long-term holders (LTHs) declined by 22% over the past week—indicating weakening potential selling pressure. However, although Bitcoin’s current price remains above LTHs’ average acquisition cost, their unrealized profit margin continues to narrow. Adler emphasized that while LTH distribution activity has slowed, the shrinking profit buffer still represents a notable risk signal worth monitoring.
