“If these security incidents continue to occur without effective containment—and if security standards fail to improve significantly—market adoption of crypto technology will inevitably slow, and the broader industry’s path to mainstream acceptance will be hindered,” CZ, founder of Binance, said in an interview. He noted that all emerging technologies inevitably go through an adaptation phase early on, marked by numerous challenges and growing pains—but from a medium- to long-term perspective, positive forces will ultimately prevail, and the technology itself will continue evolving over time. As for when the industry will hit bottom or reach an inflection point, he admitted it’s too early to tell, and warned that more issues may arise before conditions genuinely improve—though he expressed hope that this turning point arrives soon.
