Tencent Hunyuan Hy4 API calls surge; WorkBuddy scales up tenfold

Tencent Hunyuan announced that its Hunyuan Hy4 model went live on the WorkBuddy platform on November 4—first among all available platforms. To cope with surging traffic, the technical team urgently scaled up the Hy4 inference cluster by 10x and simultaneously increased users’ free trial quotas. Resource allocation will continue to be dynamically adjusted based on real-time load conditions. However, due to limited availability of high-end compute resources and highly concentrated concurrent requests during peak hours, rate-limiting may still occur at certain times. In such cases, users can switch to alternative available models like Hy3—or use the service during off-peak hours, such as in the evening. Additionally, the free-tier access period for Hy3 on WorkBuddy has been extended to November 15, 2026, at 23:59.
