CZ replies to Elon Musk meme: “Didn’t expect it to drop this much.”
On November 6, CZ responded to Elon Musk’s “I took an arrow in the knee” meme with a “CZ meme” of his own on social media—implying either “I didn’t expect such a sharp drop” or “I didn’t expect this meme to be used here.”
Note: “I took an arrow in the knee” originates from *The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim*, where it’s a famous line delivered by NPCs: “I used to be an adventurer like you, until I took an arrow in the knee.” After the game’s rise to fame, the phrase evolved into a widely adopted internet “pivotal moment” template—commonly used to express a dramatic deviation from expectations due to an unexpected event. Notably, Elon Musk is a well-known fan of *Skyrim* and has publicly expressed his love for the game on multiple occasions.
