Data: Approximately $124 million of the stolen Binance funds has been converted into BTC—nearly doubling from the previous day.

As of 16:45 Beijing Time on November 6, blockchain analytics firm Elliptic reported that approximately 1,650 BTC (valued at roughly $124 million) stolen from Binance have flowed into new Bitcoin addresses—nearly double the volume observed in similar inflows the previous day. Much of this new inflow stems from the hacker’s conversion of XRP to BTC via THORChain: on November 2, the attacker deposited a total of 233 million XRP across six newly created addresses. To date, roughly 42 million XRP (worth ~$50 million) have been withdrawn from those addresses, leaving approximately 192 million XRP (valued at ~$226 million) still held there. Additionally, monitoring data shows that a small amount of Ethereum (ETH) was also converted to BTC via THORChain on the evening of November 5.
