Web3Auth Announces Keplr Asset Recovery Address, Clarifies That Related Transfers Were Not Conducted by Attackers
Web3Auth announced the latest update on asset recovery following the Keplr wallet security incident via its X (formerly Twitter) account: In collaboration with the Keplr team, affected wallet assets are being migrated to security-verified recovery wallets. Due to certain recovery transactions being mistakenly flagged as malicious activity, Web3Auth has publicly shared a list of verified recovery wallet addresses—including native addresses on Cosmos Hub, Osmosis, Celestia, Akash, Noble, Injective, dYdX, Babylon, Axelar, Saga, and Agoric, as well as corresponding addresses across eight EVM-compatible chains. Web3Auth emphasizes that all published addresses are exclusively designated for the secure transfer of impacted assets and are not controlled by attackers; additional rigorously vetted addresses will be added progressively.
