Iranian officials vow to teach Trump 'a lesson'

On March 21, the Iranian Student News Agency quoted an Iranian official as saying in response to President Trump's remarks that the United States may be about to end military operations. "Tehran does not believe Trump's remarks; there has been no substantial change in the level of U.S. military activity in the region," the official said."Trump's statement is inconsistent with reality. Tehran believes it is time to teach Trump a lesson." Trump said on Friday that he was considering "phasing down" military operations in Iran. But he later said he "does not want a ceasefire with Iran." "You know, you can't hold a ceasefire when you're completely destroying each other," Trump told reporters.
