Adviser to Iran's supreme leader reiterates conditions for ending war
On March 24, Mohsen Risai, military adviser to Iran's new supreme leader, emphasized in an interview released on Iranian state television on March 23 that Iran will not stop the war until Iran receives all compensation, all economic sanctions are lifted, and until it obtains international legal guarantees of non-interference in Iranian affairs from the United States. Risai also stressed that the dispute between Iran and the United States is not only about this conflict or the U.S. attack on Iran in June last year, but has lasted for 47 years since the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran in 1979 and must be "ended."
