People familiar with the matter: Iran is expected to respond to peace deal proposal today

On March 27, CBS reported that multiple sources familiar with the matter told CBS that Iran would respond to the United States '15-point peace agreement framework on Friday. According to two sources, U.S. President Trump and top White House officials have been told that Iran's counterpart proposal is expected to be passed through intermediaries on Friday. As of the time of the report's release, the middleman had not received the reply. U.S. envoy Witkov said on Thursday that the U.S. government has submitted a possible 15-point peace agreement to Iran through Pakistan as an intermediary. A regional source said Pakistan has direct ties to the security services of the Iranian-controlled country, not just the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
