Large U.S. technology stocks continue to fall, the Nasdaq 100 index enters adjustment range
On Friday, the Nasdaq 100 index entered a correction zone, as shares of technology giants continued to fall. The benchmark index fell 0.9%, down 11% from its peak in October last year. This is the first technical correction in the Nasdaq 100 Index since US President Trump implemented the tariff policy in April 2025. The decline in the index comes at a time when the war in Iran has frustrated investor confidence, and technology giants are also facing questions about their huge investment in artificial intelligence.
