Web3 asset data platform RootData today released the third issue of the "Cryptocurrency Exchange Transparency List (Stocks)". This issue's list has undergone a major upgrade in algorithm. For the first time, market makers and traffic weights have been included in the transaction volume activity scoring system. Through ladder coefficient calculation, water has been further squeezed out and the authenticity and reference value of the rankings have been improved.
The biggest change in this issue's list is the official entry of OKX. Since supporting stock trading on February 25, OKX has relied on the advantages of compliance licenses in multiple places such as Singapore MAS and FinCEN in the United States to perform strongly in this period's data backtest, ranking second in the list.
In an environment where overall user activity in the market is shrinking, Gate has become one of the few exchanges to achieve bucking the trend this week. Its traffic climbed from 3.4M to 4.1M, coupled with its stable stock asset reserve of 110+, further consolidating its leading position in the segment.
In contrast, MEXC's weak performance in this period fell out of the list. Last week, the number of visits at 10.8M was the highest in the list, but this week it dropped to 7M but it is still a major traffic user. It is limited by the low transparency score-especially the online Token information disclosure (such as team background, financing history, token unlocking cycle, etc.). It is almost in a blank state, resulting in a significant decline in overall competitiveness. RootData pointed out that the lack of standardized data disclosure has become a bottleneck restricting such large traffic users from gaining long-term trust.
In addition, although OrangeX remained in sixth place, its traffic dropped by more than 60%(2.4M to 1M), facing severe stock loss pressure;XT.com's score fell for three consecutive weeks due to its compliance license being always empty. The trend of marginalization has become increasingly obvious.
RootData adheres to the principle of "transparency first" and provides investors with more effective data reference through the dual evaluation system of "transparency + liquidity". In the future, RootData will continue to optimize data interfaces, help more platforms make up for shortcomings in information disclosure, and provide investors with a more credible reference dimension.
