Trump's signature will appear on the $100 bill
On March 27, the U.S. Treasury Department stated that to commemorate the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence, President Trump's signature would be added to U.S. dollar bills, the first move in history by an incumbent president. The Treasury Department said that the first batch of $100 notes signed by Trump and Treasury Secretary Basente will begin printing in June, and other denominations will be introduced later. Trump's signature will replace the Treasury Secretary's signature that has appeared on U.S. dollar bills since 1861.
