ParaFiCapital completes $125 million in new fund fundraising focusing on stablecoins and institutional chain finance
According to Bloomberg, New York-based digital asset management company ParaFiCapital completed the fundraising of a new venture fund this month with a scale of $125 million. BenForman, founder of ParaFi, said the fund will focus on tracks such as stablecoins, asset tokenization and institutional-level on-chain finance. The company has invested in a number of leading companies in the encryption industry, including Anchorage, Bitwise and Polymarket. The fundraising comes at a time when the market is down, and Bitcoin has fallen more than 40% from its all-time high in October last year. At the same time, many large crypto funds such as Paradigm have expanded their investment scope into the field of AI agents and robots. Forman told Bloomberg that the fundraising showed that "mature investors" can distinguish short-term price fluctuations from long-term adoption trends in blockchain-based financial infrastructure. In addition to this new US$125 million fund, since the beginning of 2025, ParaFi has also raised an additional US$325 million for its ongoing digital asset investment strategy. At present, the company's assets under management are approximately US$2 billion. ParaFi was founded in 2018 with investors including BainCapital Ventures and KKR Co. co-founder Henry Kravis. In 2024, the company raised US$120 million from investors such as ThetaCapital Management and AccoladePartners.
