Analysis: Asian stock markets are expected to rise, markets focus on progress of US-Iran talks

On March 26, after U.S. stocks and bond markets rose, Asian stocks were expected to move slightly higher on Thursday as traders assessed the feasibility of a U.S. -Iran ceasefire talks. Stock index futures in Japan and Australia rose, while Hong Kong stock index futures fell slightly. U.S. stock index futures were basically flat after the SP500 rose for the second time this week, rising 0.5% on Wednesday, and the technology-dominated Nasdaq100 rose 0.7%. The index of U.S. -listed China companies rose 1.9%.
