On March 26, White House Press Secretary Carolyn Levitt said that negotiations between the United States and Iran were "continuing and fruitful." Levitt said that the United States and Iran had had "fruitful contacts" in the past three days, and US President Trump therefore instructed the Department of Defense to suspend attacks on Iran's electricity and energy infrastructure. Levitt also warned that if Iran refuses to accept reality, the United States will take stronger action. When talking about the news that Iran has rejected the "15 ceasefire conditions" of the United States, Levitt said that the U.S. -Iran negotiations are "continuing and fruitful." She stressed that the White House would not disclose details of the negotiations in public, but confirmed that communication between the two sides was still ongoing. She said that the current reports about holding US-Iran talks in Pakistan and other places are mostly "speculative reports" and "arrangements should not be regarded as confirmed until the White House officially announces it."
