BitGo and ZKsync collaborate to build token-based deposit infrastructure to help banks achieve chain integration
On March 26, BitGo and ZKsync reached a partnership to provide banks with one-stop tokenized deposit infrastructure. The solution integrates BitGo's institutional custody and wallet services with Prividium, ZKsync's licensing chain designed for regulated entities, allowing banks to issue, transfer and settle tokenized deposits within a compliance framework. Unlike stablecoins, tokenized deposits retain funds in the traditional banking system and enable programmable payments. The platform is currently in the testing phase and aims to simplify the blockchain adoption process for financial institutions.
