Securitize CEO reveals it will develop digital transfer agency project with the New York Stock Exchange

Carlos Domingo, CEO of Securitize, disclosed in a document on platform X that Securitize has been designated as a digital transfer agent and is qualified to cast native on-chain securities for companies and ETF issuers on the NYSE tokenized securities platform (digital trading platform). However, this is not the entire cooperation content. The NYSE has planned to cooperate with Securitize to develop a digital transfer agency project to support on-chain settlement of tokenized securities transactions. The two parties will also jointly formulate industry standards for digital transfer agencies and tokenized agencies. Focus on covering regulatory requirements, operating processes and technical specifications, and promote the construction of institutional tokenized securities infrastructure. (Note: Digital transfer agents can be understood as an upgraded version of the blockchain of the "transfer registration institution" in traditional finance, or will support on-chain equity registration, real-time settlement, automatic compliance, automatic execution of dividend distribution and other corporate behaviors)
