ClearBank in the Netherlands approved to become a crypto asset service provider

Netherlands-based ClearBank has been approved by the Dutch Financial Markets Authority (AFM) to operate as a crypto asset service provider under the European Union's Crypto Asset Markets Regulation Act (MiCA). ClearBank plans to provide euro stablecoin EURC and US dollar stablecoin USDC services to support more efficient cross-border transfers and payments. ClearBank also plans to deepen its partnership with Coinbase, including providing FSCS-covered savings accounts through Coinbase.
