CoWSwap tweeted that it has regained control of the cow.fi domain name and has been operating normally in cow.finance for some time, and is gradually transitioning back to its original domain name.<br /> Officials said that on April 14, the attacker deceived the DNS registrar by forging documents and obtained control of the cow.fi domain name; the attacker deployed a highly simulated phishing website, which was implemented in two phases: first, using a wallet thief to induce users to sign malicious transactions, and then stealing mnemons and passwords through fake wallet pop-ups; this attack is aimed at domain name registrars and is not a leak of CoWSwap's own infrastructure or private keys. Affected users should use tools such as Revoke.cash to revoke all authorizations and consider transferring funds to a new wallet.
