Well-known trader: Bitcoin has a key gap at US$84,000 that is difficult to cover in the short term
Well-known trader Killa (@KillaXBT) posted that Bitcoin had a CME depletion gap near US$84,000, just before the waterfall decline. This gap is similar to the two gaps in 2022, which will take 290 days and more than 500 days respectively to be filled. Killa believes that the current trend of Bitcoin is highly similar to the 2022 model, implying that the $84,000 gap will be difficult to fill in the short term, so the local top may be closer than the $80,000 target expected by most people. It reminds traders that the current market chasing higher expectations may face downward pressure rather than a rapid rebound. The day before yesterday, Killa announced that it had shorted Bitcoin at US$74,688, with a stop loss price of US$80,000. As a quantitative trader focusing on BTC, Killa predicted the peak of this round of bull market in May 2025 and has more than 180,000 fans on the X platform.
