U.S. SEC Chairman Atkins: Allow the private sector to raise funds by selling tokens on the chain, calling it "RegGGCrypto"

On April 28, U.S. SEC Chairman Atkins said in an interview at the Bitcoin2026 conference that we will continue to advance other exciting things, such as truly allowing companies to conduct on-chain experiments, build tokenized securities, and trade in the United States. For on-chain transactions, we plan to issue innovative exemptions in the next few weeks. In addition, it allows the private sector to raise funds by selling tokens on the chain, which we call "RegGGCrypto." These things are in preparation and will be launched soon. A bill currently before Congress called the Clarification Act. We do need Congress to regulate this area. We are ready, willing and able to interpret their regulations and transform them into rules that people can rely on and pursue their innovative ideas. Again, it's on U.S. soil, they don't have to go overseas. This is the really important core concept here.
