ZetaChain announced that the Gateway EVM contract was attacked, but only affected the wallet of ZetaChain's internal team. The team has blocked the attack path to ensure that no more funds are threatened, and will release a detailed post-mortem analysis report after the investigation is completed. Currently, as a precautionary measure, ZetaChain has suspended cross-chain trading. The investigation is still ongoing, and as of now, no user funds have been affected by the attack.
