CathieWood: The "1011 flash crash" market event is not a Binance trigger
On May 8, during a blog exchange between ARKInvest's Lorenzo Valente and CathieWood had a conversation with Binance founder Zhao Changpeng (CZ), CathieWood's "wooden sister" clarified its comments on the 1011 crypto market flash crash last year. In the "flash crash" incident, Binance did not actually trigger a flash crash. It was the crash that caused the failure, and the added tariff panic caused the market vulnerability to be amplified. CZ responded to this: Thank you for your clarification. That sentence has been quoted extensively in the media. Many people say that Binance caused the collapse. I'm glad you have clarified this now.
