Estonia regulators warn Zondacrypto for violating MiCA white paper disclosure requirements
Estonia's Financial Supervision and Settlement Authority (EFSA) issued an investor warning to BBTradeEstonian Oü, the operating entity of the Zondacrypto exchange, alleging that it failed to issue a white paper for the "TeamPL" tokens launched on the platform in accordance with the requirements of the EU Cryptographic Asset Markets Regulation (MiCA), violating the provisions of MiCA Article 9, paragraph 1 on transparency and investor disclosure obligations. This warning is compounded by previously exposed withdrawal difficulties and cross-border investigation issues, causing compliance pressure on the exchange to continue to heat up.
