According to CoinDesk, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has withdrawn the "no denial" rule that has been in place for about 50 years. The new rules allow defendants who reach an enforcement settlement with the SEC to publicly question or deny the SEC's allegations in enforcement actions. Previously, defendants were usually restricted from publicly rebutting the charges after signing a settlement agreement.
