Reported that the Bitcoin mortgage market may grow to US$1 trillion in the next 10 years
Crypto lending platform Ledn released a report saying that the size of the Bitcoin mortgage market may grow from the current approximately US$3 billion to US$1 trillion in the next 10 years. The report quoted survey data on 1244 crypto asset holders in the United States and Australia, showing that 88% of the respondents expressed their willingness to use crypto asset mortgage loans or credit products, but currently only 14% actually use them. Ledn said that this means that there is a "6:1 willingness and adoption gap" in the market. The biggest obstacle in the current industry is not insufficient demand, but a trust issue. The report pointed out that the issues that users are most concerned about include price fluctuations of crypto assets, forced risk and regulatory uncertainty. In addition, platform credibility, asset custody security, loan terms transparency and risk management capabilities are considered more important than interest rates themselves.
