According to Cointelegraph, the MiCA transition period of the EU's Cryptographic Asset Market Regulation will end on July 1, 2026. The European Securities and Markets Authority ESMA stated that crypto asset service providers that are not authorized by MiCA will not be allowed to continue to provide services to EU customers even if their application is still under review, and should initiate business closure and customer migration arrangements.
